The Oldest Organ in Toronto St. John’s York Mills Anglican Church is the second oldest church in Toronto and preserves the oldest organ in Toronto. This 1847 instrument with its three inter-changeable barrels of 10 hymn tunes each provided the only accompaniment for congregational singing until 1864.
