Manfred DIPPMANN, French horn

Born in Dresden, Germany, Manfred Dippmann graduated from the University of Music “Carl Maria von Weber” in Dresden and studied with Prof. Peter Damm. Since 1989 Manfred Dippmann has been a member of The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Staatstheater Cottbus. He works with different chamber music ensembles and is frequently invited as soloist on the Waldhorn (natural horn) and Alphorn.

 

Together with Reinhard Seeliger, Director of Music at St. Peter and Paul in Görlitz, Germany, Mr. Dippmann presented a vivid program of concerts “Horn and Organ” in Germany and abroad. His CDs include: “Musik für Horn und Orgel“, recorded at the “Sonnenorgel” in Görlitz (2002); and “Jesus bleibet meine Freude“, recorded at the “Silbermann-Orgel“ in Reinhardtsgrimma with Organist Marianne von Einsiedel (2003).
